One-Stop Career Center Services
One-Stop Career Centers are job centers that help workers find jobs and help employers find workers.
Arizona's One-Stop Career Center system, also known as Arizona Workforce Connection, is a statewide network of conveniently located centers that provide employment, education, and training services all in one place. Comprehensive One-Stop Career Centers have all employment, training, and education partners and their programs on-site. One-Stop Affiliate sites have selected partners and programs on-site. One-Stop Career Centers are located throughout Arizona and offer a variety of services, including but not limited to: job listings, career counseling services, job search workshops, and other job-related services for job seekers. Some Centers offer job training. The Centers offer job posting, candidate screening, job fairs, tax information, and other services for employers.
Pima County One Stop Career Centers are federally funded by the Department of labor under the Work Force Investment Act. The target audience is unemployed, underemployed, and dislocated workers, both youth and adult. Through the collaborative funding of various agencies the system is designed to offer a range of services including but not limited to job listings, career counseling services, job search workshops, and other job-related services for job seekers. The Centers offer job posting, candidate screening, screening, job fairs, tax information, and other services for employers as well as assistance during layoffs.
