Federal Earned Income Tax Credit

EITC is a special tax benefit only for low-income people who work full or part time. If you qualify, you will owe less in taxes and you may get money back. Even if you do not owe income tax, you can still get the EITC. EITC does not affect public assistance benefits such as Cash Assistance, Food Stamps, AHCCCS, or Housing.
