Economy Pass Program

Sun Tran offers reduced public transportation fares through the Economy Pass Program in Pima County. Economy cash fares and passes are available to low-income riders, senior citizens, Medicare Card holders, and people with disabilities who have required identification.

Low Income
Pima County residents who meet low-income requirements are eligible for a reduced fare once they obtain a Sun Tran Transit ID.

Seniors
Senior citizens with IDs can purchase economy fare passes or pay the economy cash fare on the bus.

Medicare Card
Sun Tran will accept the Medicare Card to purchase economy fare passes or pay the economy cash fare on the bus.

Disabled
Passengers with IDs can purchase economy fare passes or pay the economy cash fare on the bus.

Non-profit
The non-profit program allows organizations to purchase economy passes for clients who meet eligibility requirements.
